Cusumano, a Sicilian winery led by Diego and Alberto Cusumano, is one of the leading wine producers nationally and internationally.

"A rewarding yet vast territory to explore, especially for tourists and visitors who are increasingly wishing to visit our wineries, " explains Diego Cusumano . " Hence the idea of combining technology and art to offer our guests a multisensory and engaging experience, likely the first in Sicily and among the few in Italy, capable of conveying emotion and knowledge of the lands where our vineyards are rooted."
Specifically , "The Unseen Terroirs" takes place at the Cusumano winery in Partinico, easily accessible from Palermo. Through light, sound, and the texture of earth and fabrics, the installation dissolves architectural boundaries to evoke the breadth and depth of Sicilian winemaking landscapes.
The experience, featuring videos, sounds, projections, scents, and sensations, envelops the guest and instantly transports visitors on an imaginative journey through the Cusumano territories, exploring the profound connection between nature, time, and memory. The project creates an immersive sensory environment, capable of conveying the textures, colors, and authentic soul of each terroir.
We begin immediately with the first room, the most fascinating and contemporary, multimedia and immersive, but also multisensory. We then proceed through the Room of Sweetness (dedicated to Moscato dello Zucco), then on to the Room of Great Vintages and the barrel cellar. The tour continues and finds its natural conclusion at the Torre San Carlo courtyard, where the tasting rooms are located.
Conceived by the Cusumano family , “The Unseen Terroirs” is the result of a collaboration between GB22, an independent creative agency founded by Vicky Gitto, and WOA – a creative studio that explores the potential of digital technologies to create profound connections between people, space, and imagination – led by Davide Asker Carioni (creative director) and Giuliana Pajola (executive producer).
