“CeraSoul”, music and wine in the theatre

A toast was made with music and wine at the Massimo Vincenzo Bellini Theater and the Sangiorgi Theater in Catania thanks to the CeraSoul event, the concert with tasting organized by the Consortium for the protection of Cerasuolo di Vittoria Docg and Vittoria Doc wines and held last Thursday evening. The Chroma Ensemble took to the prestigious stage of the Bellini and proposed a show where the pleasure of music was enhanced by the projection on the screen of some of the most beautiful film scenes, chosen and edited by the performers themselves. The concert was preceded by a wine tasting at the Teatro Sangiorgi in Catania . About five hundred people took part in the second edition of the event.

« Unity is strength and if this Consortium has managed to make great strides over the years it is thanks to the passion and collaboration that animates every producer who is a member of it - declares Achille Alessi , president of the Consortium -. A lot of road has been made if we only think that this year Cerasuolo di Vittoria celebrates the 50th anniversary of the recognition of the Doc, which later became Docg. It is from this spirit of collaboration between the members that the second edition of CeraSoul was born, a combination of music and wine, because just like wine must be listened to, music must also be tasted. This year we have added another sense because, as with wine, the concert must also be watched: thanks to the Chroma Ensemble the other evening we had the opportunity both to listen to fantastic soundtracks and to admire some images of films that wrote the history of international cinematography. A pure emotion.
