The National Literary Competition by Go Wine “Bere il Territorio” (“Drinking the Territory”) has been launched: an invitation to young people to tell their relationship with wine

Now in 13th edition, “Bere il Territorio” is the National Literary Competition sponsored by Go Wine.

Why “Bere il Territorio” 2014?

This competition contributes concretely to enhance the culture of consumption of quality wines. The competition aims to encourage consumers to be more aware both in their choices and in the attribution of a proper value and meaning to a bottle of wine.

Who can participate in “Bere il Territorio”?

The competition, in this thirteenth edition, is open only to “Under 30”. There are two age groups: one of young people aged between 16 and 20, the other between 21 and 30.

“Bere il Territorio” is openly addressed to the youngest generations to contribute, through a cultural initiative, to raise their awareness in this sector.

What does “Bere il Territorio” 2014 mean?

The title of the “Bere il Territorio” Competition means:

“Drinking” ? “the territory to assign more value to each quality wine and to appreciate, through the glass, the culture and the environment in which it is confirmed. A way to reaffirm the belief that wine belongs to the history and the rural culture of Italy: vineyards shape the Italian landscape and in each region the cultivation of vines is expression of the work of men, and characterizes the social and economic life of many territories. In effect, wine can not be considered as an ordinary beverage, but it is made as a product of the earth with a bond with its land of origin”, it is written in the presentation of the competition.
