On the weekends of 11 and 12 and 18 and 19 September the Camignone company hosts tastings, picnics, workshops and treasure hunts among the vineyards.

For these two weekends dedicated to the discovery of the excellences of the area overlooking Lake Iseo, the company from Camignone (Brescia) led by the brothers Giulio and Lucia Barzanò offers a dense series of events to choose from: tastings, picnics , workshops or treasure hunts in the vineyards surrounding the estate.
For those who want to discover or deepen their knowledge of the company's wines, Stile Mosnel is the ideal route: after visiting the seventeenth-century cellars, you can taste three of the four Franciacortas that distinguish Mosnel's work, choosing between Brut, Rosé, Pas Dosé and Satèn. If, on the other hand, you have little time and you prefer a faster visit, the solution is Degusta and go! , which includes the tasting of two Franciacortas including Brut, Brut Nature, Pas Dosé, Rosé, Satèn 2016, without visiting the company.
From the grape to the glass , on the other hand, it is a compelling sensory experience in which, after the visit to the cellar, starting from the tasting of the Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero grapes, it will be possible to retrace the evolutions from the must to the wine up to the tasting of the Franciacorta Brut DOCG. Another appointment scheduled for the Franciacorta Festival is the preview of the 2020 Reissues : after the visit to the cellars, under the expert guidance of the oenologist Flavio Polenghi, it will be possible to investigate how time works in Franciacortas after a long contact with the yeasts. or after dégorgement. To taste, in absolute preview , the Franciacorta Extra Brut EBB 2010 and the Franciacorta Pas Dosé Rosé "Parosé" 2010 "Reissue 2020", left on the lees for nine and a half years and available only from October 2021. The same vintage as the two Franciacortas will also be tasted in the version originally presented, with dégorgement in 2015.
For lovers of natural and homemade cosmetics , it will be possible to participate in the laboratory of Paola Lambardi , also known by the name of Cosmo Splash , creative director, editorial designer and journalist who since 2010 leads courses for the self-production of soaps, creams and cosmetics natural. During the workshop, a protective lip balm and a face mask will be made with Franciacorta grape juice, oatmeal and honey produced by bees in the Mosnel vineyards, organically run since 2014. Each participant, at the end of the course , will be able to take home the products made together with the recipes and tips for reproducing them. After the workshop, a guided tour of the cellar will follow and a final toast with Franciacorta Brut DOCG.
For those who want to get lost among the rows of vineyards, on the other hand, there are two proposals: Pic Nic d'Autore in Vigna and La Caccia al Tesoro in Vigna at Sunset . Picnic menus have been specially created by four local restaurants: Dispensa Franciacorta, Due Colombe, Osteria Quattro Rose and Cadebasi . The package includes a guided tour of the cellars, a menu for one person and, for every two people, a bottle of Franciacorta Brut DOCG, two glasses and a thermal backpack. Finally, the Treasure Hunt in Vineyard at Sunset , organized in collaboration with the Brescia tourist agency Millemonti, is an experience suitable for the whole family: a team trial in which the goal is to find all the intermediate "lanterns" with the different clues, and finally find out where the hidden treasure is.
All the appointments scheduled in the busy Mosnel calendar on the occasion of the Franciacorta Festival are by reservation only. For the complete calendar of events, for information and reservations, visit the website www.mosnel.com, in the section “Visits and tastings”.
