Mangialonga, "camminata nel verde, camminata nel vino": also this year the route between Barolo wine and food culture takes place. Mangialonga will take place on 25th August in the province of Cuneo.
Mangialonga is an interesting and tasty path in wine and food culture, now in its 27th edition. Mangialonga offers participants a food and wine walk - not competitive - including typical dishes and vineyards from which the king of wines, Barolo, is produced. The initiative aims to raise awareness and to enhance the wines and the culinary specialties typical of the area, which can be tasted directly in the place of production, among the famous vineyards of Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo for Barolo.
Meats and lard of the area with the Dolcetto d'Alba, "tajarin" with meat sauce with DOC red wines of La Morra such as Barbera d'Alba, morsels of veal with polenta and cheese with Barolo DOCG by the La Morra producers.
Along the way there will be five stages of tasting where wines by the different La Morra producers will be the protagonists alongside foods and local products. Slogan of the event, which combines nature, landscape, entertainment, food and wine, is "walking in the countryside, walking in wine"
