Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June, in the courtyard of the Castle of Barolo (Piazza Falletti 2) set up in full compliance with the quota measures, a musical aperitif to return to focus on the excellent products of the Piedmont area combined with the immortal music of the Italian songwriter , for a combination that inspires courage and beauty.
The daring descents and the ascents , to put it with a quote by Lucio Battisti that eloquently outlines the desire to start again after months of restrictions. It is in fact the music of Lucio Battisti and the songwriters to weave the thread of the evening. A tasting of the labels of the Consortium - from Barbera d'Asti to Barbera d'Asti Superiore, from Cortese del Monferrato to Grignolino d'Asti, from Piedmont Chardonnay to Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato - before the music of Tuttofuffa, a Dj Set that proposes the great classics of Italian music.
A message to express how the Piedmontese territory is ready to start again, respecting the security measures and letting itself be guided by the inspirations suggested by the Italian wine, gastronomic and cultural heritages and, in particular, by the Unesco hills. An opportunity for sociality that finds in the wine an element of aggregation and a bridge towards new meeting and meeting situations, but which also recalls the tourist, food and wine and economic value of a territory united by the same desire to start over.
In keeping with this principle, the Consortium has launched a nationwide radio promotional campaign, to restore centrality to the territory through the appeal of its wines.
« The Barolo event is an important signal for our producers and our public - says Filippo Mobrici , President of the Barbera d'Asti and Vini del Monferrato Consortium - It is the first opportunity we have to start again, to return to those spaces that we had had to abandon because of the health emergency. With caution and respect for safety, we must go back to looking ahead ».
The formula for the evenings includes 3 glasses of white and red wines from the Barbera d'Asti and Vini del Monferrato Consortium and aperitif at 20.00. For reservations: info@collisioni.it (address to which to report a telephone number to which you can be contacted).
