Annalisa Zorzettig: the future of wine is sustainability, common sense and beauty

Values that are expressed in the partnership with Mittelfest, confirmed again this year. On 25 July, a preview of the festival with a jazz concert by Dena De Rose.

The Zorzettig company in Spessa di Cividale del Friuli has been involved for years in projects to protect and support its territory, a treasure trove of traditions and unique nature.

Also this year it has decided to support as principal sponsor Mittelfest , the Cividale festival which for thirty years has given space to the cultural expressions of the Central European area , presenting important music, dance and theater shows to the public.
"We are located in a beautiful borderland, a stone's throw from Slovenia and not far from Austria and Croatia - comments Annalisa Zorzettig , head of the company - this involves a rich cultural exchange, which is part of our tradition and that we have the responsibility to keep alive and active. Wine , among its properties, has the ability to unite people , to create conviviality and sharing, to build lasting bridges and bonds. Our territory is strongly characterized by viticulture and I believe it is also through it that the enhancement of common projects passes. The beauty that surrounds us is the most important treasure that we must protect and aesthetics involves all areas: we get excited in front of a landscape, listening to music, observing a painting or enjoying a glass of wine in the peace of the vineyard. Beauty is part of life, it is life itself! Unfortunately the world of music, art and entertainment has been one of the sectors most penalized by this pandemic, these are pleasures of which the Covid emergency has completely deprived us. Today more than ever I feel the desire to go and listen to good live music ”.
The union between the arts and above all the attention to nature and environmental well-being are the basis of Zorzettig's activity. The care of the land and the value of time are the production philosophy, which is understood by tasting their wines: inside a bottle are hidden the sun and the air that ripened the grapes, the wisdom of their ancestors and an agricultural culture that respects and enhances the individual vineyards, allowing to reach high quality levels.
“In the company, our interventions are always guided by sustainability - continues Annalisa Zorzettig - which often coincides with common sense and respect for nature, and we always evaluate the future consequences of our actions. This is why we feel even more involved in this year's Mittelfest theme which is Heirs : a profound reflection on what we will leave to our children and those who will come after us, on which we must all commit ourselves. We are happy to support this great event which is the Mittelfest ”.
On 25 July at the headquarters of the Zorzettig company, in Spessa di Cividale, a jazz concert of the Art & Taste review will be the preview at the Mittelfest. Performing at 6 pm will be Dena De Rose : an unparalleled artist who combines versatility and vitality with measure and good taste, for a performance dedicated to the great classics of jazz music masterfully interpreted by her quartet. Following will be a visit to the cellar with wine tasting . The event is organized with the collaboration of PromoTurismoFVG and the Costantini restaurant in Tarcento (Ud). To participate, write to stradevinoesapori.fvg@promoturismo.fvg.it or call 393 0318585.
The thirtieth edition of the festival will instead be staged from 27 August to 5 September 2021. A unique opportunity to discover this fascinating territory, rich in history, artistic and natural beauties and authentic people. But not only on those dates, in fact this year Mittelfest launched a new platform of experiences for the whole year: Mittelland. It is a series of initiatives dedicated to the Cividale area and the Natisone Valleys: wine and local product tastings, sports in nature (excursions, walks, bike rides, yoga), book presentations, meetings with personalities from the cultural scene. , concerts in groves and in villas.
