The winemakers associated for over two years will be able to insert it on the label and on the capsule to clearly communicate a style of understanding the wine.

It is the choice of the VinNatur Association that during the last assembly approved, through an online vote of the members given the impossibility of meeting physically, the proposal to insert a recognizable brand on the label or on the capsule, starting from the 2019 vintage for consumers. The goal is to communicate in a clear and transparent way the work in the vineyard and in the cellar of all the associated wine growers. "We want anyone who buys a bottle of wine with the VinNatur logo to know immediately what are the principles and spirit that guide our work and what are the standards according to which we produce our wine - says Angiolino Maule , president of 'Association - An easy-to-read symbol for the end consumer, an instrument of communicative immediacy and a mark of quality and guarantee available to members ". The use of the association logo is not an imposition, but a possibility that all natural wine producers who have been members of VinNatur for at least two years will be able to use.
"Naturalness is now a fact, and is expressed through high-profile productions capable of faithfully narrating its territory - continues Maule - This is what the Association of natural winemakers wants to defend and promote since always, first of all through the Disciplinary tool and even more today with the affixing of this brand ".
VinNatur since 2016, the year in which it was introduced, verifies the respect of the production Disciplinary by its associates and certifies the new members through a specific control plan carried out by a third party certification body recognized by the MIPAAF (Ministry of Agricultural Food Policies and Forestry). The operation is repeated every year and involves the drawing of 40% of the associated companies that receive one or two inspection visits by the responsible body. If a producer does not comply with the directives of the Disciplinary, he incurs various warnings according to a risk class which also provides for the removal from the Association in extremis. The control plan that certifies compliance with the Disciplinary, therefore, is the best guarantee for the insertion of the logo in the bottles.

The VinNatur association born in 2006 brings together small producers of natural wine from all over the world who intend to defend the integrity of their territory. The aim of the association is to join the forces of these winemakers to give everyone greater strength, awareness and visibility, sharing experiences, studies and research. The aim of the association is also to promote scientific research and disseminate knowledge of natural and innovative techniques. Over the years, several research projects have been born between associated companies and some universities and experimentation centers. At birth there were 65 member companies of VinNatur. Today there are 195, for a total of 1800 hectares of vineyards that produce 6 million and 500 thousand bottles of natural wine, of which about 5 million in Italy.
