All the values of the Treviso-based company, leader in the production of organic wine, in a line that minimizes the impact on the environment.

Grapes, glass, cap, capsule, label and sustainable packaging carton: now it's possible.
BACK TO BASIC is a project deliberately born in the fortieth year of the winery which celebrates by embracing the concept of " basic " intended as a celebration of the essential and identity values of the company .
" The age of 40 - says Settimo Pizzolato, owner of the winery - is a goal we are proud of. Organic is believing that we are part of a greater balance; it is a life choice, a responsibility that we want to inspire every aspect of the supply chain Pizzolato production. Strengthened by this conviction, we felt the need to create a line that did not speak only of organic wine but that would involve all the stakeholders who gravitate around the creation of a bottle. "
" This project - comments Sabrina Rodelli, export manager of the winery - represents 100% the evolutionary path we have taken in recent years. Years in which we have listened to consumers who, increasingly aware, ask us for products that give concrete form to the principles of environmental sustainability, recycling and reuse of materials and reducing the environmental impact. As a wine company we are called to do our part and we have found partners and suppliers who have decided to embrace this supply chain project with enthusiasm by proposing or even specifically making their most sustainable product . "
The BACK TO BASIC wine line therefore goes beyond organic wine and involves the entire packaging chain consisting of six eco-friendly and low environmental impact elements:
The wine first of all, whose certified organic and vegan grapes come from the vineyards of the farm owned by the winery. About 15 hectares are dedicated to this line in which Pinot Grigio, Raboso Piave, Pinot nero, Manzoni Bianco and Chardonnay are grown, the five wines of the new BACK TO BASIC line .
The glass used for the creation of the new line is based on a highly innovative use of materials. It is in fact wild glass , whose blend is made up of 94% recycled glass. This glass is 100% certified PCR (post consumer recycled) and allows a production whose ecological impact is extremely low. The key element of sustainability is then added to the high level of customization that this material allows. In the case of the Back to Basic line, we wanted to accentuate the uniqueness and imperfection of recycled glass by using a texture that has a vintage effect (BACK). The result is an organic and one-of-a-kind design.
The cap used is the twin top evo by Amorim Cork, entirely in cork, 100% ecological and sustainable material, natural, renewable, recyclable and reusable that allows to compensate for a CO₂ level equal to 297 grams.
The capsule also has elements of research and development in the green field as it derives from recycled material.
The label , in 100% recycled and FSC® certified Sabrage paper, does not contain plastics or other materials of unnatural origin and is obtained from the waste from the processing of the cotton industry. It takes up as little space on the bottle as possible, and is a single piece that wraps in order to reduce the impact of the glue. Furthermore, the debossing technique minimizes the use of inks whose color is engraved with offset processing, which is the least impactful.
Finally, the cardboard packaging has 79% recycled papers while low environmental impact colors have been used for printing.
"For us, the path of sustainability is the only one that can be taken - comments Sabrina Rodelli . - A concept that means REFLECTION, ATTENTION, RESPECT. A fundamental value of our company that stimulates us to develop criteria of respect and care for the environment, with the commitment to think about the long term. Satisfying the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to satisfy theirs: this is our commitment and our responsibility " .
