A weekend in which the black gold of Modena will be the absolute protagonist: on Sunday, 27th September, in the province of Modena Acetaie Aperte takes place again, an event organized by the Consortium for the Protection of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and by the Consortium of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP to let the public know how this precious food with secular history is made.
The day of Acetaie Aperte on Sunday, 27th September, offers a common program to all participating vinegar factories constisting of wine tastings and guided tours to the places of production, but in any case it will be an occasion where each producer can fulfil customized initiatives with the shared goal to transmit the value of this food (cultural and spiritual even before than economic) and further increase awareness among consumers. With the 2015 edition, Acetaie Aperte is included fully in the tourist routes created especially for visitors to Expo, who will have the opportunity, in this way, to get to know how these products of excellence of our food sector, exported to over 120 countries, are made.
Saturday, 19th September, to coincide with the weekend dedicated to the Festival of Philosophy, in the afternoon there will be a preview with a "balsamic" aperitif at the Palazzina Vigarani in Modena, during which maps with references to all vinegar factories participating in the day of Sunday 27th will be distributed, too.
