The first chapter of a book, the first forkful of pasta, the first word spoken, the first love, the first breath, the first wine. All this is spontaneity , naturalness, pure emotion, elements that will be found in Back To The Wine .
For the sixth edition of the event, scheduled for 12 and 13 November 2023, Venice was chosen for the first time. Dedicated to artisanal and natural wines , organized by Andrea Marchetti and Blu Nautilus, Back to the Wine will take place at Terminal 103 – Stazione Marittima . The decision to arrive in Venice after Faenza and Bologna is not accidental: the Serenissima has a centuries-old history linked to the wine trade and changes in the sector, it has always been a crossroads of civilizations and cultures. Features that, combined with charm and beauty, make this city ideal.
The protagonists of the Fair and Market are the artisanal wines, those that respond to the needs of nature that shapes them and the manual skill of man who guides them , and the small or very small producers from all over the country who create them. Nature, combined with man's savoir-faire, determines the unique expressiveness of these wines , which become the story of a story , that of the producer with his own philosophy and choices.
« Back To The Wine is the realization of a dream that I have been pursuing for some time, the enhancement of wines made with the least possible intervention, in the vineyard and in the cellar . They are handmade products, in which the know-how of the winemaker-artisan gives a distinct personality to the wine, freeing itself from homologation and convention. – Says Andrea Marchetti. – The event will see the participation of about one hundred companies , mostly family-run, and will be open to operators in the sector, journalists and enthusiasts ».
Back to The Wine will make use of the collaboration of Confesercenti Metropolitana Venezia Rovigo.
