Members, institutions, and stakeholders gathered in Conegliano to share the denomination's goals, vision, and growth strategies.

This was the common thread of the evening that took place yesterday, Thursday 25 June , at Tenuta Belvedere in Conegliano , where the Consortium brought together institutions, members and local stakeholders to share the denomination's objectives and strategies.

A moment of discussion and relaunch, promoted by President Isabella Collalto de Croÿ , at the helm of the Consortium since last December, who illustrated the direction taken to a large audience of authorities, producers and operators: strengthening the identity of the DOCG and building shared growth with the entire territory.

"The Colli di Conegliano denomination has all the credentials to emerge, but its future depends on our ability to work together," stated Isabella Collalto de Croÿ . "As a Consortium, we want to be an open and inclusive point of reference, capable of engaging members, institutions, and the local area in a shared development project. Only by working as a team can we strengthen our identity and build solid, lasting growth."

In her speech, the President forcefully reiterated the denomination's positioning: a small entity in numbers but rich in identity and value. "The strength of the Colli di Conegliano lies in its uniqueness," she emphasized. "The large denominations are fundamental to the system, but it is the smaller ones that preserve its soul."

The event was attended by numerous mayors from municipalities in the typical area, along with high-level institutional representatives, including the Regional Councillor for Agriculture, Dario Bond , and the President of the National Wine Committee and Vice President of Assoenologi , Michele Zanardo . Representatives of the local banking system and members of the Consortium also attended. Although not present at the event, the President of the Veneto Region, Alberto Stefani , and the President of the Regional Council, Luca Zaia , shared a note of support for the initiative's goals.

At the heart of the Consortium's new phase are three main directions: promoting the region and its traditions, developing new opportunities for younger generations, and strengthening its tourist appeal through authentic experiences . This approach aims to highlight, alongside the great names of Veneto wine, a denomination capable of surprising.

Among the activities planned for the coming months are a presence at Vinitaly and other major trade fairs, as well as active involvement in the Conegliano Città del Vino 2026 program.

Significant space was also dedicated to the future of the Incroci Manzoni , a unique heritage born from the research of Professor Luigi Manzoni. The Consortium intends to initiate a strategic reflection on this heritage, aimed at strengthening its identity both in terms of regulatory and market positioning. The central theme of the evening was the call for collaboration. The President urged the banking system to provide visionary support for the development of the region and asked the mayors to spearhead the revitalization of the denomination, expanding communication through institutional channels.

A clear and shared call: the future of the Colli di Conegliano depends on the ability to network between businesses, institutions, and the local area. This concept is summarized in the denomination's "re-going" concept, understood as a new beginning and renewed planning.

The evening concluded with an aperitif featuring wines from the appellation, toasting a future of growing collaboration, where every voice can contribute to the enhancement of the territory.
