The restaurant was founded in december 1997 by the passion for cuisine of Mariella and Fabrizio. It was named after the opera by Giacomo Puccini, to which the owners are tied. Since then, the venue developed and was renovated in its kitchen and environment, being rewarded in 2008 with a Star by the prestigious Michelin Guide.
The welcoming environment includes a park of 5,000 square meters and a restructured farmhouse divided into small rooms. We have also a reserved small room to host special lunches or dinners, with a table for 2 to 6 people.
Enoteca Lavagna Museo del Vino welcomes the members of the Club and their Guests among scents and colors. Not surprisingly, it is in Montecarlo di Lucca, a small medieval village on the top of a hill along the Lucchesia and Alta Versilia wine and oil route, inside a medieval palace within the castle walls.
In the fascinating scenery, from the ancient winery with vaulted ceiling to spacious frescoed rooms, you have the opportunity to taste the local production of olive oil and wine, salami, cheese and honey, all combined with reliability without giving up professionalism and privacy.
The many labels of red, white and sparkling wines, are combined with the details of the hand–painted bottles depicting scenes of Montecarlo, and Versovino: a small decanter of mouth blown glass.
