In Mortegliano, in the heart of Friuli, Ivan and Sandro are pleased to welcome you in the Da Nando Hotel Restaurant, for a magical encounter between the best Friulian gastronomic tradition and the warm hospitality typical of “Da La Nestre Tiare” (of our land).



Trattoria Da Nando was opened in 1960 by Ferdinando Nando Uanetto and his wife Isolina, peerless in the kitchen, affable behind the counter of Sior Nando. This perfect union makes that, in the 80s, their children Ivan and Sandro entered the direct management of the premise bringing with them a breath of novelty. The restaurant was renovated in 1992, creating in this way five comfortable rooms that can accommodate up to 140 people.

The environment is furnished in rustic–modern style and creates the ideal climate to enjoy the typical cuisine of the Trattoria, strictly related to the culinary traditions of Friuli and the typical products of our land.

An homage paid to the Friulian tradition, that the two owners together with the chef, reinterpret according to the seasons, to ensure customers the genuineness and freshness of the food served. We witness, in this way, to a natural succession of delicate asparagus and herbs of the field during spring, a jubilation of pore mushrooms from our Carnia in the summer months, until you get to autumn–winter where the protagonists are Rosso di Treviso and the White Truffle. The Polente Cuinciade, the Ham of Cormons by L. D. Osvaldo, the Formadi Frant and a thousand of other delights of our region combine wonderfully with the early fruits of the seasons.
