Antica Trattoria Hotel Valeria is located on the Carst Plateau, only 10 minutes by car from the center of Trieste. The hotel, completely renovated in 2007, offers style and comfort and is characterized by environments in the name of contemporary design.
The restaurant, open since 1904, is well–renowed and has a good choice of national and international wines. The kitchen serves dishes based on the seasonality of products and are strictly homemade, like potato or plum gnocchi, orzetto with cabbage, potato dumplings with Ricotta cheese and herbs, roasted pork shank, pore mushrooms, game and the chestnut roulade.
During the mild seasons you can eat outside on the beautiful terrace on the roof of the building, which has 70 seats.
