Agriturismo Villa Toderini

via Roma 4/A
31013 Codognè (Treviso)
Italy
There is no distant place, if the beauty and harmony of the landscape repay ancient and modern travellers of their arduous journey. Since immemorial times, the complex of Villa Toderini hosts renowned guests.

The poet Ugo Foscolo, of passionate and impetuous temperament, sought rest and quiet within the walls of the ancient mansion, where the noble Venetian family Toderini de Gajardis loved to be surrounded by famous people.

The building draws on the horizon an unparalleled architectural unit: the central body in eighteenth–century style with two Barchessas and a small church frame the Agriturismo of Toderini Villa, obtained from a typical farmhouse of the Treviso countryside.

The buildings, despite being surrounded by the houses of the Codognè small town, are in reality an isolated place, around which the green of the grass, the water of the fish pond and the trees create a unique and well–defined environment.
