C. Garibaldi 34/A
Guastalla (Reggio emilia)
Italy
Founded in 1863 as Society of Mutual Aid for Workers of Guastalla, is transformed over the years into an inn and is located in the old town under the fifteenth century arcades that surround Piazza Mazzini, the main square and heart of the village of Guastalla.

The atmosphere is warm and cozy with rustic decor characterized by wooden tables set with paper straw, cutlery and glasses typical of a tavern.

Even the courtyard is very cozy, with stone floor, a grand marble albi, floral decorations on the walls and a comfortable wooden bench for relaxing after a meal.

The kitchen is the traditional of Guastalla, to say, of the "bassa" area, characterized by multiple ingredients that are combined and lovingly accompany each other in different dishes.

Being Guastalla on the right bank of the Po river, more or less equidistant from the cities of Reggio Emilia, Parma and Mantua, our kitchen has been affected in time by the influence of these cities, as well as by the traditions of Modena and Cremona. In feffect, Guastalla is part of the so–called "small capitals of Po" along with Colorno, Casalmaggiore, Brescello, Boretto, Gualtieri and Luzzara.
