Description
He graduated in Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Florence in 2000 with a thesis on Sangiovese. His passion for wine led him to do a lot of experience working in different contexts, from heroic viticulture almost family–run in the Cinque Terre and the Colli di Luni to large Companies in international contexts, such as South Africa and California. In 2002 he joined the Matura Group, where he began his activity as a consultant joining established professionals such as Attilio Pagli, Alberto Antonini, and Paolo Caciorgna, to continue then the independent profession following companies in the most established wine regions of Tuscany – Chianti, ie, Montepulciano and Monltalcino – in addition to a number of projects for the rediscovery of indigenous grape varieties of less known terroirs.
