The Wine Advocate, a magazine of Robert Parker, has reviewed as many as 8 wines of the Negrar Valpolicella Winery, and awarded the highest score to the vintage 2008 of Amarone Espressioni.
The recognized advantage of the Negrar Valpolicella Winery is to have vineyards in all five valleys of historical Valpolicella, making possible different Amarone cru: Villa (Negrar), Castelrotto (San Pietro in Cariano), San Rocco (Marano), Mazzurega (Fumane) and Monte (Santt’Ambrogio).
Here are all the excellent scores received by the Amarone of the winery:
92 points for Amarone Mazzurega,
91 points for Amarone Castelrotto,
89 for Amarone San Rocco
88 for Amarone Monte and Amarone Villa.
