Vittoria Cisonno Puglia at the top of international tourism. In London, a prestigious award for the director of the Wine Tourism Movement of Puglia.

In these days the World Travel Market is taking place, the fair of the tourism/travel industry that, every year, awards a prize to a personality who stood out for a work in this field.

For Italy, the jury formed by the director of the World Travel Market Michela Juarez, the president of the European Tour Operators Association Tom Jenkins and by the referent of the headline “L’Agenzia di Viaggi” Cristina Ambrosini, declared winner Vittoria Cisonno, entrepreneur engaged for almost twenty years in the promotion and the enhancement of food and wine tourism in Puglia and current director of the Wine Tourism Movement in the region.

Cisonno deserved the award because of her commitment and innovative talent in favor of the culture of wine tourism in Puglia, thanks to which the region won also the award for Top Wine Destination 2013 worldwide. Her distinctive feature is especially the ability to create synergies among the public and private sectors, among entrepreneurs in the agri–food sector (producers of wine, olive oil, typical products, but also restaurateurs and hoteliers) and institutional bodies.
