The latest study of Spanish researchers at the Instituto de Investigación en Ciencias de la Alimentation states that wine is good for your teeth because it is a bactericide which prevents tooth decay.
Other research had shown that the polyphenols in grapes and their extracts contribute to slow bacterial growth, today the Spanish scientists of the Instituto de Investigación en Ciencias de la Alimentation (Cial) tested them in real conditions and the results have been published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
Wine has obvious results in fighting bacteria and preventing dental and gum diseases.
