- Terre d'Oltrepò, a labor commissioner appointed starting Monday: the goal is to save the winery. Commissioner Luigi Zingone will take office in Broni on August 25th to launch the winery's revitalization plan. Priority will be given to protecting jobs and suppliers.
- Caramiello and Barzotti (M5S): "Lollobrigida is slamming winemaking excellence, safeguarding the Terre d'Oltrepò Winery." The 5 Star Movement criticizes the government: they are calling for immediate action to support the cooperative and winemakers.

- Sicilian wine reinvents itself: new models for market success. A promising vintage and estimated production of 3.5 million hectoliters: the sector aims to strengthen its international positioning.
- BIO Cantina Sociale Orsogna: Ghiuppitt reintroduction project. Recovery of the ancient Abruzzo “mountain” Sangiovese ecotype, between archaeology, biodiversity and territorial identity.
International wine and global scenarios
- Wines with US duties at 15%, Antinori: "Damage for everyone, now we need to negotiate to save the DOC bottles" The entrepreneur invites people not to panic and to negotiate to protect wines with denomination of origin.
- Italian wine alarmed by tariffs: estimated loss of 300 million. According to the Italian Wine Union, the potential impact could reach 460 million if the dollar depreciates.

- Wine Taxes: An International Comparison According to the American Association of Wine Economists, the highest taxes in Europe are in Finland, Ireland, and the United Kingdom; the US makes matters worse with tariffs.

- Chilled Bardolino grows and doubles with Lazise From August 29th to 31st, the chilled Veronese red becomes the protagonist of a festival of tastings, music and art.
- Valtidone Wine Fest 2025 The largest Piacenza wine festival returns in September with events in the municipalities of Borgonovo, Ziano, Alta Val Tidone, and Pianello.
- Montecarlo Wine Festival (LU) From August 28th to September 8th, tastings and Tuscan gastronomy will be the protagonists of the 57th edition.
- The 2025 National Conference on Ungrafted Viticulture will be held on September 8th at Villa Campolieto (Ercolano) to discuss the future of grafted-free viticulture.
- Cinema in the Cellar 2025 From August 25th to 30th in Friuli, six evenings of cinema and wine among the Prosecco cellars.
- Cinemadivino: the film "Mixed by Erry" with wines from the Tibè winery. A summer of screenings under the stars that combines film culture and tastings.
