Italian Wineries

  • Riva del Garda: farewell to Gino Torboli, founder of "Garda Vini." A historic figure in the Garda winemaking industry, Torboli transformed wine into an ambassador for the region.
  • Angela Velenosi: "We need more business and less wine. Let's start again with profitability and Made in Italy." Since 1984, the Velenosi Vini winery has become an international benchmark with Rosso Piceno and Falerio, now also led by her children Marianna and Matteo.

Italian Wine and Oenology

  • An excellent vintage for Veneto wine . Very positive forecasts: quality exceeds expectations for Pinot, Chardonnay, and Raboso, despite localized hail damage.
  • Harvest is approaching: too many stocks, cuts to Moscato d'Asti yields. The Consortium decides to reduce yields to 90 quintals/hectare to address stocks and the market crisis.
