Italian Wineries

• Riva del Garda: farewell to Gino Torboli, founder of "Garda Vini." A historic figure in the Garda winemaking industry, Torboli transformed wine into an ambassador for the region.
• Angela Velenosi: "We need more business and less wine. Let's start again with profitability and Made in Italy." Since 1984, the Velenosi Vini winery has become an international benchmark with Rosso Piceno and Falerio, now also led by her children Marianna and Matteo.
• Sartori and the 25th anniversary of Amarone Corte Brà The historic Veronese winery celebrates a milestone that is a symbol of quality and continuity, within the Collis Veneto Wine Group.
• Milo and the Kingdom of Carricante: Cantina Maugeri A niche Etna winery that has conquered international markets thanks to its choice to promote a single grape variety, Carricante.
• Arillo in Terrabianca: three estates, one vision. A Tuscan triangle of excellence between Chianti, Maremma, and Val d'Orcia that tells the story of the "Tuscan Theorem and the Art of Wine."
• Talosa and Vino Nobile in the cellars of Montepulciano The sixteenth-century cellars become custodians of time and the identity of wine.
• The small oasis of Collio signed Pichech Bed & Breakfast family that combines hospitality, vineyards and authentic wines.

Italian Wine and Oenology

• An excellent vintage for Veneto wine . Very positive forecasts: quality exceeds expectations for Pinot, Chardonnay, and Raboso, despite localized hail damage.
• Harvest is approaching: too many stocks, cuts to Moscato d'Asti yields. The Consortium decides to reduce yields to 90 quintals/hectare to address stocks and the market crisis.
• Raineri-Marcora Campus: the teaching cellar in Piacenza has opened. Students are producing their first bottles, a training laboratory for future winemakers.
• Vinitaly: "It's war in the cellar", costs increased by 35%. Coldiretti alarm: the international crisis and price increases threaten the profitability of companies.
• Inspectors at Terre d'Oltrepò: "Irreversible crisis." Compulsory administrative liquidation of the cooperative proposed.
• Attilio Scienza's reflection, "The territory's vocation: we have forgotten its true meaning; we need to return to uniqueness and sustainability."

International

• Stintino Wine Festival (August 22-23) Two days of wine, music, and tradition featuring nine wineries.
• The WineHunter Award 2025 in Merano Three awards for the Nuovi Poderi di Sisini winery, a Sardinian excellence with Vermentino, Nasco and Barbera.
• Sommelier in Sicily: training, passion, and costs. A program that combines professionalism, conviviality, and glamorous events.
