OCM Wine 2025/2026: New call for promotion in Third Countries underway

 

The new notice of the Ministry of Agriculture for the promotion of Italian wine in foreign markets has been published. The overall budget is 98 million euros , of which 22.5 million for the national call and the rest for regional and multi-regional calls. Deadline for submitting projects: 14 July 2025 (12:00) via the SIAN portal . Maximum contribution that can be requested : 4 million euros. Bonuses foreseen for :

 

  • Projects aimed at new countries or emerging markets
  • Co-financing less than 50%
  • Involvement of SMEs (up to 10% of turnover)

The main supply chain associations express satisfaction for the joint work with the Ministry and the simplifications introduced. Minister Lollobrigida : "Wine should not be demonized, it is culture and business. Abuse is harmful, not conscious consumption."

According to the Imco ranking, the most followed wineries on social media and appreciated online are:

  1. House of the Woods (Franciacorta)
  2. Donnafugata (Sicily)
  3. Germans (Valpolicella)

  5. Tenuta San Leonardo Followed by Ferrari Trento, Guido Berlucchi, Lamole di Lamole, Ornellaia and Argiano.
