Work is expected to begin in early 2027 and last approximately two years. After closing 2025 with a 6-7% decline and revenues of around €30 million, the group is expected to report 10% growth in the first six months of 2026.

Cusumano: Fewer Grapes in Sicily, but Very High Quality

The 2026 harvest in the Cusumano vineyards presents itself as qualitatively very positive despite drought and extreme temperatures.

Follador focuses on wine tourism in Prosecco Superiore DOCG

Since 1769, Follador Prosecco has been offering three wine tourism tours on the Col San Martino estate, available upon reservation.

The experience focuses on the direct relationship between visitor, family, vineyard and territory of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG hills, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Cantina Futurista brings the grape harvest to the center of Treviso.

An original urban winery model is born in Treviso: Cantina Futurista, owned by brothers Enrico and Alberto Fagotto, integrates a cellar, restaurant, and cocktail bar into approximately 750 m2.

During September, customers can observe the harvest and fermentation processes through the glass windows. The project launches with 20 proprietary labels and a Metodo Classico line.

Cecchetto: Inclusive Harvest with AIPD

On October 3rd, the Cecchetto Giorgio Farm will host the 22nd inclusive harvest , organized with the Italian Association of People with Down Syndrome – Marca Trevigiana Section.

Puglia: High stocks and grape prices under pressure

The Apulian wine sector is facing a difficult situation characterised by high inventories, falling grape prices and pressure on the profitability of agricultural companies .

"Wine Package": new measures and deadlines

Over the summer of 2026, several national measures related to the "Wine Package" were adopted.

The initiative comes at a time when the industry is questioning new communication models and the relationship between supply, demand, and changing consumer habits.

OENOLOGY, RESEARCH AND NEW MODELS

The “microbial terroir” leaves its mark on the wine

A study conducted by centers at the University of Turin analyzed 38 samples of Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards in Valtellina and Piedmont.

The study highlights how bacteria and yeasts present on grapes change during fermentation, but differences related to geographical origin do not disappear completely.

The microbiota can therefore contribute to the typicality and territorial identity of the wine even in the presence of commercial yeasts.

THE SIGNAL OF THE DAY

The news of September 17 paints a picture of a sector that is changing on multiple fronts.

The cellar is also changing its function: it is no longer just a place of production, but is increasingly becoming a destination, an experience, a commercial space and a tool for promoting the local area .

Scientific research, climate adaptation, regulations, internationalization, and new management methods therefore become central elements of the future competitiveness of Italian wine.

The activity includes M&A of wineries and agricultural companies, search for investors and buyers, joint ventures, rent to buy, rent to own, lease management and Gestion-System , as well as the development of new revenues through direct sales and wine tourism.

The goal is to provide concrete support to wineries, entrepreneurs, and investors in growth, acquisition, reorganization, enhancement, or divestment operations.
