The president of Tuscany Enrico Rossi announces that he will ask UNESCO recognition of the Tuscan landscape as a World Heritage Site.


«Our challenge is to combine at the highest level possible the extraordinary values ​​of the Tuscan landscape and the profitability of agricultural activities that have shaped it and that will continue to form and maintain it in the best way. At the end of this path (...) – the president announces – we will ask UNESCO recognition of the Tuscan landscape as a World Heritage Site. Therefore, it will be a success for everyone, for the agricultural economy, for tourism and for the beauty without which Tuscany has no future».
