The sapling cultivation of Zibibbo - Pantelleria is officially Unesco heritage
For the first time an agricultural practice has become a World Heritage Site: the sapling vine of Zibibbo grapes typical of the island of Pantelleria has entered the prestigious List of Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
'' No country, before Italy, has ever managed to register an agricultural practice in the List '', the committee proposing the candidacy comments with satisfaction from Paris.
