"Good news for the wine sector of Salerno – the Chairman of Coldiretti, Vittorio Sangiorgio, said – we have contributed to the creation and construction of this project which has the aim to boost the entire sector by controlling the quality of the wines and the certification of origin of the grapes".
The consortium will be responsible for protecting, promoting and enhancing the DOP of Cilento, Castel San Lorenzo, the Paestum and the Salerno hills IGP. 26 are the founding members and the aim is to involve the totality of the producers.
"We are now able to offer a typical of Salerno model based on safety, quality and distinction" the Chairman of Coldiretti, Vittorio Sangiorgio, said.
