Villa Mantide wins the Ecofriendly price

Villa Matilde has deserved the Ecofriendly Prize by the “Vinibuoni d’Italia” Guide

Villa Matilde winery in Campania was awarded with the Ecofriendly Prize by the “Vinibuoni d’Italia” 2014 Guide.

To be awarded, the Protection of the Environment and the values ​​of eco–sustainability of Villa Matilde, implemented with the “Zero Emissions” project, founded in 2008 with the goal of resetting emissions of greenhouse gases through a series of integrated actions that have affected the entire production of the company: from energy to transport, from fertilizers to fuels, from the vineyard to the final distribution.

Villa Matilde is a company that works and produces wine with low environmental impact. The business center has been equipped with 339 photovoltaic panels. All the buildings of the company have been painted with a special white paint to offset the global warming problem and the “greenhouse effect”. Vehicles and agricultural machines are powered by bio–diesel and the weight of the glass of bottles has been cut down, to reduce the environmental impact of the transport. All waste of water and energy have been eliminated or greatly reduced through efficient rationalization of space and production processes.
