The Villa Cordevigo Wine Relais & Spa in Cavaion Veronese (VR) , the first five-star luxury hotel in Garda Veronese, and its Oseleta restaurant, Michelin star, are preparing to reopen. The hotel and the adjoining gastronomic bistro reopen for guests on 18 June , while the restaurant will resume in the summer with significant news: after ten years, chef Giuseppe D'Aquino leaves Oseleta to devote himself to a new and Marco Marras , his sous chef in the last season, is taking on a different professional enterprise and taking the lead in the kitchens , guaranteeing continuity in the style that has brought the restaurant to the top of the Garda landscape.
"Giuseppe D'Aquino, with his professionalism and his recognized talent - says the director of the Villa Cordevigo Wine Relais & Spa, Lorenza Delibori , representing the Cristoforetti and Delibori families, owners of the structure - was fundamental for the path we have undertaken in November 2010, which materialized with the Michelin star in 2013, we wish him the best of luck for the new commitment that, we are sure, will allow him to achieve further important goals in his tireless research path. Head of the match at Oseleta since 2017 and then second by Giuseppe D'Aquino since 2019 , thirty-two year old Marco Marras, originally from Bosa, Sardinia, a pupil of the local Hotel Institute, started working in the kitchens at sixteen at the Cala hotel di Volpe in Porto Cervo, to then continue to Madonna di Campiglio, Geneva, Portofino, Elba, Miami, Hawaii and Puglia, up to the landing in Veronese. From 18 June the Bistrot Cordevigo, with its airy outdoor area overlooking the vineyards and the swimming pool, will be the space where it will present its idea of cooking.
“The decision to immediately open the Cordevigo Bistro, postponing the reactivation of the Oseleta - explains Lorenza Delibori - responds to the need to guarantee the availability of a very large open air area, in which hotel guests and customers who want find our restaurant offer will feel comfortable and totally relaxed in this post lockdown phase. Oseleta will return to enrich our proposal as soon as conditions become more favorable ".
