VENETIAN AGRICULTURE WORTH 5.85 MLDEURO

The overall value of the Veneto's gross agricultural production , in 2019 , is estimated at around 5.85 billion euros , down by -7.6% compared to the previous year. This is the main figure that appears in the 2019 Report on the conjuncture of the regional agricultural sector that Veneto Agricoltura will publish on Thursday 2 July. As operators of the Veneto agricultural world well know, every year, at the beginning of summer, the Regional Agency presents its highly anticipated economic report, an event that this year, due to the restrictions for Covid-19, will take place with a formula different than in the past. The traditional press meeting will in fact be replaced - Thursday 1 July at 11:00 - by a special episode of RadioVenetoAgricoltura (available on Facebook, YouTube and on the Agency's website), with speeches by the Extraordinary Commissioner of Veneto Agriculture , ing. Alberto Negro , and Dr. Alessandra Liviero , head of the Agro-Food Economic Observatory of the Body. Furthermore, also from Thursday 2 July, the Report will be downloadable at: www.venetoagricoltura.org.

The paper, developed by the Veneto Agriculture technicians, examines all the sectors of the regional primary sector , photographing their performance and results achieved in 2019 . Also interesting is the appendix , created in a very short time, on the trend of the Veneto agricultural sector during the Coronavirus months , therefore including the first projections of 2020.
