In 2013, the United States has been the largest consumer of wine in the world. Second France and third Italy.
The data from the Wine and Vine World Organization has also showed a general decline of one per cent of world consumptions in quantity. According to Coldiretti, the change was determined on the one hand by the increase of 0.5 per cent of consumptions in the U.S., which have reached 29.1 million hectoliters, and on the other hand by the decrease of 7 per cent of consumptions in France (28.2 million hectoliters) and 4 in Italy (21.8 million hectoliters).
