Unionbirrai starts online training with the UB Academy platform

Unionbirrai presents UB Academy , the platform designed for online training with courses and insights dedicated to the world of Italian craft beer . The portal is available for members and students enrolled in the lessons of the first half of the tasting courses, then postponed due to the Covid-19 health emergency, but will soon be available for all the other members. “UB Academy was already in our programs - explains Simone Monetti , National Secretary of Unionbirrai - but we managed to speed things up because we wanted to give our members and students the opportunity to continue training even in this period of distance. But we also look to the future: we wanted to create a platform entirely owned by Unionbirrai without relying on public domain servers, so that we can implement it in the coming years, offering more and more content. " The portal, developed together with Moodle , provides fans with a constantly updated calendar of live and on-demand content : from monographic insights dedicated to the history of beer and individual styles, to combinations with the various dishes and curiosities of the world brewing. UB Academy was also designed for producer members , with technical lessons dedicated to current regulations and current affairs, and for Union Beer Brewers , to which training Masters and refresher courses are reserved. The educational offer of Unionbirrai, managed by the Unionbirrai Beer Taster, includes a nationally recognized tasting course on two levels and a course to produce beer at home.
