TONIGHT, PRIMAVERA DEL PROSECCO GRAND GALA
The event sees the union of the culinary excellences of Conegliano Valdobbiadene in the year of Expo. Wines but also cheese of the Upper Treviso area will be the stars of the evening.

PROGRAM
7:00 p.m. the Gallery of the Latteria Soligo dairy company will host the Gala of Primavera del Prosecco Superiore, with the traditional awards ceremony:

3rd Gastronomic Competition "The Dish of Primavera del Prosecco Superiore" will award the absolute winners in the two categories Farmhouse Inns and Restaurants/Eating–Houses/Inns who presented a dish prepared with local produce in combination with one of the wines of Primavera del Prosecco Superiore.
8th Journalism Award which rewards two journalists in the Prosecco Superiore Award sections
2nd "Fascetta d’Oro" Wine Competition rewarding the best wines of Primavera del Prosecco Superiore. The competition is recognized by MIPAAF and organized in collaboration with Assoenologi. The winning wines were selected out of 200 samples submitted from 77 wineries divided into two main sections: Sparkling Wines and Frizzante, Still and Raisin Wines.

Throughout the evening you can taste Pizza with Mozzarella STG, Casatella Trevigiana Lea or Soligo Oro offered by the master pizza maker Mirco Fariello. Casatella in Risotto, instead, will be proposed by the students of the DIEFFE catering school of Valdobbiadene, and for meat lovers there will be the traditional Altamarca Spit.

To commemorate the centenary of World War I there will be a photographic exhibition: "The Veneto Front of the Great War".
Admission € 5.00 (+ € 2.00 glass deposit) entitling to the free tasting of the wines, to a plate with a selection of Soligo cheese and a hot dish of your choice.
