Muvit: A Museum of Exceptional Wine in Umbria
In Torgiano, Umbria, Muvit celebrates 50 years of winemaking history inside the seventeenth-century Palazzo Graziani Baglioni. From Etruscan artefacts from the third millennium BC to the engravings of Picasso and Guttuso, passing through the works of Mantegna and medieval ceramics, this museum offers a journey through time through the culture of wine. The Lungarotti family, promoters of this combination of wine and culture, has made the Muvit one of the most important wine museums in the world, according to The New York Times.
Restructuring and Conversion of Vineyards
The deadlines for applications for aid for the restructuring and conversion of vineyards for the 2024/2025 financial year are now open. Applications can be submitted until 14 June 2024, with any extensions applied by the Sardinia region. The application for testing payment must be submitted by 20 June 2025, while those with advance payment must be submitted by 20 June 2026 or 2027.
