Wine news for wine lovers.

There is too much wine in Italy, let's uproot vineyards. So the head of the winemakers wants to save an excellence. In Italy we drink little but we continue to produce too much. Although Italian producers are doing well abroad, overproduction of wine has become a problem on the peninsula. The proposal from the president of Assoenologi, presented at the annual winemakers' event in Cagliari, suggests reducing production to increase quality.

INNOVATION AGRI TOUR 2024 | The challenges for the vineyard of the future. The third stage of the IAT is held at the AgriVar farm in Palazzo di Varignana. Minister Francesco Lollobrigida signed the decree to declare the state of exceptional adverse weather conditions in 2023, reducing the minimum spending limit for the restructuring of vineyards from 30% to 3%, to support businesses affected by abundant spring rains.
