Today 7 June at 7.30 pm, the 8th edition of the charity auction of Italian wines organized by the Operation Smile Italia Onlu s Foundation will be held in the wonderful venue of the Circolo Canottieri Aniene.
The proceeds from the auction are intended to finance the medical projects that Operation Smile is planning in 2012 in Kenya, Jordan, and Ghana.
Thanks to the proceeds from last year's auction, Operation Smile was able to carry out 164 medical missions in 2011 and treat over 18,000 children.
The most famous Italian wineries have already sent their wines to name a few: 1 double magnum of Sassicaia 2008 in a wooden box - Tenuta San Guido; 1 9-liter bottle of Avvoltore 2009 Moris Farm (the wine was produced in 11 examples in the world and it is only the second vintage that in over 20 production is put into 9-liter bottles)
