will host Italian and foreign journalists from the sector, engaged in tasting the new vintages and in a press tour of the area, as well as in the gala dinner, which will be held in the suggestive cloister of Sant'Agostino, and in a scientific conference which will involve speakers from national caliber on current issues in the world of wine. On the weekend of 18 and 19 May , the event will open to the general public, with the producers' desks located in the city squares and activities aimed at tasting and learning about Vernaccia di San Gimignano - White Queen in a land of Red Kings - and of its producers. Shows are planned in the square and an evening of entertainment at the Rocca di Montestaffoli. The event is promoted by the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Consortium and the Municipality of San Gimignano, in collaboration with the Civic Museums.
