THE TUSCAN PGI QUERCIAMATTA ENTERS THE AIRO SELECTION AMONG THE 6 BEST OILS IN ITALY

This time it was the turn of the Tuscan Organic IGP extra virgin olive oil from the Anno Zero collection , awarded as the best IGP of the Tuscany Region at the AIRO Producers Competition - International Association of Oil Restaurants - and entered the AIRO 2023 Selection among the 6 best oils from Italy .

On the occasion of the "Taste the difference - AIRO 2023" event, which took place at the splendid Palazzo di Varignana in Bologna and which aims to promote the culture of excellent extra virgin olive oil and to enhance its use in the world of catering, the tasters were able to appreciate the quality and characteristics of the Querciamatta oil, extracted at the Grevepesa oil mill in a state-of-the-art structure that uses highly technological machinery capable of monitoring all phases of the production process.

The AIRO Association aims to bring excellent extra virgin olive oil to the tables and enhance its use in catering. It currently has more than 600 members including over 200 companies from all over the world and more than 70 restaurants. The AIRO Selection, which this year also involved Querciamatta oil, represents the choice of the best oils, selected from among the winners of the Producers Competition, which AIRO is committed to distributing in partner pizzerias and restaurants. There are six extra virgin olive oils selected on the basis of different taste-olfactory parameters, in order to offer a heterogeneous range of products, suitable for different preparations.
