The Award for the red wine with the best quality-price ratio of the Berebene 2024 guide, which will be presented on 30 November, was awarded to a Primitivo di Manduria. Tenute Eméra consists of 55 hectares of vineyards near Lizzano, located mainly on soils rich in minerals and fossils close to the Ionian coast; Cantina Moros can count, however, on just over one hectare of old vineyards in Guagnano, dedicated to the production of Salice Salentino.

The handover between Claudio Quarta and his daughter Alessandra took place successfully and the wineries they manage between Campania and Puglia demonstrate this very clearly. Both in Irpinia, with Sanpaolo, and in Salento with Tenute Eméra and Cantina Moros, we find that happy hand in combining a traditional approach and the strong connection with the territory with a contemporary taste.

It is a Primitivo that rests for five months in steel and for a further two months in barrique before resting for a long time in the bottle.
