The Moscato Giallo of the Euganean Hills will be a wine to be paired to any food thanks to the work of the Maeli winery led by Elisa Dilavanzo, who states: «In eight hectares of volcanic soils I make a "salty" Moscato Giallo – she highlighted – that has grown so much in the DOCG sparkling version, also for its low alcohol content, around 6 degrees».
Elisa Dilavanzo wants to promote «A not complicated but very versatile drink, as demonstrated by the aperitifs of Maeli in combination with cod salad with lime, which recall both local dishes and the citrus taste of the grape variety known as "Fior d’Arancio". Mine is a wine for tapas that wants to upset the cliché of the dessert wine». «It will be a Classic Method sparkling wine, the first of the Euganean Hills and the first sparkling wine in the world with Moscato Giallo, which is very difficult to turn into a sparkling wine».
