In Casarsa, the First selection of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s sparkling wines starts: the "Filari di Bolle" sparkling wine competition
On the occasion of the 67th Wine Festival from 23rd April to 4th May in Casarsa della Delizia, "Filari di Bolle" will take place, the first selection dedicated to the sparkling wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The Winners will be announced on 25th April, out of 85 wineries participating of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Method with their Charmat Prosecco Doc sparkling wines, Charmat Method Single–Variety Sparkling Wine, Charmat Method Cuvée and Classic Method.
On 16th and 20th April a group of sommeliers, including the world champion of the category Luca Martini, oenologists and experienced journalists, Italian and other European countries, the Chairman Venanzio Francescutti, will taste and evaluate the wines in the competition. Once the winners have been decreed, they will continue with a free tasting of all the wines of the participating companies.
