Greg Lambrecht, a doctor from California, invented Coravin, a kind of corkscrew provided with a very thin cane which closes the cap again after use.
How does Coravin work? A hole in the cap pumps argon gas to prevent oxygen entering the bottle and, when you remove the cane, the cork closes again preserving wine.
After the success in the United States, in recent weeks the Coravin system will be distributed also in Europe thanks to the new headquarters of the company established in Amsterdam.
