The ENOLOGISMI project will be inaugurated in January, a place open to all, dedicated to research and knowledge of Italian food and wine thought

A new space that didn't exist yet where taste intertwines with music, art, history and photography to bring together enthusiasts, the curious and lovers of food and wine. It is ENOLOGISMI , a project strongly supported by Laura Riolfatto, visual artist, sommelier and wine&food stylist , which will inaugurate on 20 January 2024 in San Pietro di Castello , a corner of Venice waiting to be discovered, which has maintained its authenticity by escaping mass tourism. A neologism, ENOLOGISMI, which identifies a thought and a new "cultural-oenological" movement.

ENOLOGISMI is a space returned to the city thanks to a skilful recovery by Francesco Cucchini , owner of Cantieri Cucchini, and is part of the _docks_ cantieri cucchini , squeri and shipyards built between the 19th and 20th centuries, which have now become splendid exhibition spaces .

From 20 January to 30 March 2024 there will be many events scheduled , from exhibitions to photography courses, from literary or musical tastings to meetings to discover the culture of the table up to vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

« ENOLOGISMI will have the aim of making known, through tasting, tasting, storytelling and photography, some of the Italian food and wine excellences , crossing the identity of the suitable territories , through the companies and people who dedicate themselves every day to the our agriculture to make it ever better ." Says the creator of the project, Laura Riolfatto .

It will begin on January 20th at 11:00 with the inauguration of the photographic exhibition "The aesthetics of suspended time Porto Marghera project" by Andrea Morucchio created in collaboration with the Landscape Museum of Torre di Mosto . An original exhibition, full of hope, which reveals the beautiful side of a city, Marghera, generally associated with a place of industrial production. Also on January 20th at 5.30pm , "Spiritual exercises for wine drinkers" will be held, a presentation meeting of the book written by journalist Angelo Peretti in conversation with Massimo Zardo and Laura Riolfatto, followed by a guided tasting of the wines chosen by the author. On February 2nd at 8pm it will be the turn of "Walk on the Wine Side" with Gianpaolo Giacobbo and Massimo Zardo , where the history of Rock will merge with that of natural wines thanks to a tasting where the wines will be paired with vinyl records. While on Saturday 3 February and Friday 1 March from 10:00 to 16:00 there will be the "Food Photography workshop" themed Still Life Food curated by Nicoletta Fornaro and Laura Riolfatto , in which a food photographer and a wine&food stylist will teach participants how to photograph food with the chiaroscuro technique and natural light. On Sunday 4 February from 10:00 to 13:00 Alessia Cipolla will talk about the history and design hidden behind a glass at the meeting "Glasses at the table between history and design" , followed by a guided tasting combined with finger food. On March 2nd at 5.30 pm, however, the meeting "Visionary memories - The history of wine in Venice, rites and meeting places, through the story of the most significant traveling plant in the Mediterranean, the vine" will be held with Laura Riolfatto and Martina Vacca and the guided tasting combined with finger food.
