Storm in Veneto Sandro Boscaini the Masi vineyards remained unscathed ready to start the 2020 harvest

President Sandro Boscaini on the violent storm that hit the provinces of Verona, Vicenza and Padua yesterday.

"The violent storm that hit the provinces of Verona, Vicenza and Padua caused serious damage and we can only express our closeness to the many people and companies in the area that today have to face this new emergency" comments Sandro Boscaini, president of Masi Agricola .

"Our company has not been affected by severe weather and our wine distribution areas have been free, not only in Valpolicella Classica, but also in the areas of Soave, Lugana, Bardolino and Valdobbiadene where you develop the wine business of Masi. We understand the disturbance has mainly affected other areas, from the center of Verona, dramatically affected also in the hills around Castel San Pietro, to the strip upstream of the Adige which extends towards Pescantina, with an appendix to the south-east of San Pietro in Cariano.

Sorry for some colleagues unfortunately heavily damaged, we, like most of the producers of the hilly areas of Valpolicella Classica, are going to start the 2020 harvest in Veneto with serenity, started in recent days in Trentino and Friuli, with the prospect of an excellent vintage, from a quantitative and qualitative point of view " concludes Sandro Boscaini.
