SOLIDS PARMA IS AT THE DOOR

On June 14th and 15th the first Italian appointment with the manufacturers of machines for handling, storage, analysis and transformation of materials in granular, powdery form and loose solids will start; sold-out exhibition spaces, 2,500 professionals and decision-makers from all over the world; lots of business and a busy calendar of conferences, round tables and talk shows.

The companies will exhibit the most innovative machines and will show live the functioning of the solutions in line with the new trends in the rubber and plastic, food, agriculture and feed, chemical and pharmaceutical, metalworking, mining, paper and glass sectors.

ROUND TABLES Three round tables have been organised: two will be held on the first day and another on the morning of the second day. On Wednesday 14 June, from 11:30 to 13:00, the round table entitled " Innovation at the service of manufacturing 4.0: approaches, technologies and subsidies to support investments " will be held, in which the hot topic of innovation will be addressed as a business engine and as an investment strategy. To talk about it, representatives of companies who will bring their experiences and regional and national associations and working groups that promote growth through the development of innovation and research, the attractiveness and internationalization of the territory. From 14:00 to 15:30 there will be a round table " Two almost unknown problems in the food chain: MOCA and ATEX ", during which some representatives of Atex Italia will intervene, who will talk about "Combustible Dust: Atex Directives and Standards Harmonize" and an expert in food law who will talk about "MOCA Regulations - Materials and objects in contact with food". The round table " The contribution of traceability for seeds, feed and fertilizers " will be held on Thursday 15 June, from 11:30 to 13:00 , in which representatives of trade associations will intervene, including Assalzoo (National Association of livestock feedstuffs), Assosementi (which represents Italian seed companies), Compag (the National Federation of Agricultural Retailers, which represents companies supplying technical means and services for agriculture) and companies in the sector. A live talk-show was also organised, which will take place during the two days of the fair, from 11:00 to 16:00, in which companies and experts will speak on the macro-theme "Circular economy, recycling and sustainability" , with a focus on "Sustainability and use of twin models/virtual twins to achieve it using AI". The theme is extremely topical, also considering the upcoming CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), which will come into force in the countries of the European Union in 2024 and which, for the first time, defines in detail the criteria on the basis of which companies prepare sustainability reports, including - and this is one of the new features - in addition to large listed and non-listed companies, also listed SMEs. These questions will be answered by the companies exhibiting at SOLIDS Parma.
