The Soave wine, real wealth of Verona area has been enhanced even in the British monthy megazine Decanter.
To praise the Soave wine is the megazine Decanter, with reference of the UK market dedicated in September about the Soave wine signed Michael Garner, star reporter and wine expert for the authoritative Britisg megazine.
Here are some pieces of the article: "Promoted by a Consortium the Soave wine is undergoing a substantial renovation to add luster to its growing reputation. The promotion campaign focuses on 'volcanic origin of the area and explains the effect that the two main types of soil infuse the aroma and taste of the wine. The basaltic soil, which is located in the central and eastern part of the region, gives rise to wines with mature notes of tropical fruit and minerality, while soils from calcareous sediments in the south and west part, give the wines more floral, fruity and citrus hints. " Next to Garner is also expressing Ian D'Agata, Italian journalist and the Master of Wine Jane Hunt: "As a whole - D'Agata notes - the level of the wines tasted was excellent, the wines were mostly floral and mineral with atypical hints of banana and pineapple, some really suitable for aging, which can last for over five years from the date of harvest and others even able to double this period. " "There is no doubt - said Jane Hunt - that a high quality Soave wine can be classified as one of the best white wines of Italy. The best ones are produced in hill areas to the north east because there is volcanic soil. Thanks to the mineral wealth, the wines produced on volcanic soil are more intense. "
