The awarding of the best national productions of rosé wines was held in Rome at the Rome Cavalieri hotel. Puglia and Veneto regions that have received the highest number of awards.
«I congratulate the winners of this fourth edition – Leonardo Di Gioia said – I confirm the strategic value that the actions of promotion and development have for the food industry. With Puglia and Veneto, already award–winning in previous years, for the first time regions like Calabria and Sicily have been recognized. A result that strengthens the quality of Italian rosé wine, increasingly competitive on the international scene. Rosé is representative of our regions of Italy: in a glass of rosé we have the experience of our producers, increasingly advanced winemaking techniques and excellent varieties of grapes that tell each territory. If consumption and production in Italy is increasing is a sign that quality grows, that we are investing well and in the long run even outside the national borders».
Accompanying the best production of Italian rosé wine there were many typical products of agribusiness such as buns, traditional Christmas pie, cheese of fine Podolica bovine cattle, such as Caciocavalli, Manteche and Canestrati and much more.
