Red wine helps to counter acne

Red wine to win acne: to prove it, a study conducted by the University of California of Los Angeles.


According to the research, red wine, thanks to resveratrol, would be able to inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause acne. In particular, researchers at UCLA, combining resveratrol with a common benzoyl peroxide–based drug against acne, the proliferation of the "Propionibacterium acnes" microorganism is reduced.

Resveratrol would be able to inhibit its growth for a much longer period.
