On January 21st a meeting of Pope Francis and some of the most prestigious names in the Italian wine world is scheduled
Worldwide renowned oenologists like Franco Bernabei, Riccardo Cotarella (Chairman of Assoenologi), Donato Lanati, and Barbara Tamburini, and, moreover, great winemakers like Angelo Gaja and Nicolò Incisa della Rocchetta, but also new faces like Massimo D’Alema and Bruno Vespa: these are just some of the leading personalities of the wine world that on January 21st will represent Italian wine at Pope Francis.
At the papal audience there will be also wine journalists of TV, newspapers, websites.
The same Bergoglio, whose grandfather was a producer of Grignolino, said: "Without wine there is no party".
